Affiliate Disclosure
Unless stated otherwise at the very beginning of a post, all news and reviews on this site have been initiated by Revtz.
In other words, there will be no doubt when a review has been initiated by the merchant of a product or a service – or any other third party; it will be mentioned at the very beginning of the review.
Affiliate Links
In an attempt to get some compensation for the costs related to purchasing products and services, and running this website – and ultimately make some profit – Revtz utilizes affiliate links to the merchant’s website of those products and services.
Clicking an affiliate link is without obligation and does not increase costs, but merely makes it possible for the merchant of the product or service to identify the referring site in case of a closed sale – in this case Revtz.
There is a lot of variation in affiliate programs. The compensation usually ranges from 15 to 30% – so definitely not enough to buy me a new trekking bike.
Paid Reviews
Revtz has always been, and always will be, hesitant concerning paid reviews.
However, occasionally Revtz and a merchant might agree upon a compensation for a blog post as a compensation for the time devoted to evaluating the product or service and writing the review.
Whenever such an agreement has been made, this will be disclosed to the reader of the article concerned.
Even when Revtz has received some kind of a compensation for a review, the findings and opinions expressed are those of the author – which not necessarily agree with those of the merchant.
Any Questions?
The mission of Revtz is to provide news and reviews to help you decide whether a specific product or service meets the desired functionality.
Please do not hesitate to contact form Revtz when you have any questions or concerns regarding this affiliate disclosure or the reviews published on this site.
